Blackcurrant starter kit Vape Meet in Finland: the flat shortlist — Finlandvapemeet
Blackcurrant in Finland: 23 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Finland.
Where buyers go wrong with blackcurrant in Finland
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Finland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant starter kit really costs in Finland
Ordering into Finland usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested blackcurrant in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Finland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Finland.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Finland, not a suggestion.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Finland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and bans most advertising for these products.
Packaging for blackcurrant in Finland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does blackcurrant in a starter kit last?
In Finland we measured 7 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever Finland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
