What the label on Citrus is allowed to say
Citrus pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at citrus in Finland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: citrus in Finland works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in Finland
Citrus pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Finland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Finland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
How long does citrus in a pod kit last?
In Finland we measured 4 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
