Lime in Finland: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Finland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
We run lime the same way in Finland: same refill pack, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

The short version: lime in Finland works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime refill pack really costs in Finland
Lime in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Finland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lime in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Finland, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Finland.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lime goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Finland accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised €49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run €2.17 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Finland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and bans most advertising for these products. Shipping of nicotine to Finland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
