Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit

Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Finland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within €2.15 per 10 ml.

Mint RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

The short version: mint in Finland works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a mint RDA really costs in Finland

Mint RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

How we tested mint in a RDA

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
2. Choose strength against the ceiling in Finland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
3. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.

• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Finland.

Where mint goes wrong

• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Finland survives.
• Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Treating the advertised €35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run €2.15 per 10 ml.

The rules that apply here

Retail sales in Finland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Finland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and bans most advertising for these products.
