Plum box mod Vape Meet in Finland: the budget shortlist
Plum in Finland: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Finland.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in Finland
We run plum the same way in Finland: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: plum in Finland works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum box mod really costs in Finland
Plum in Finland reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Finland, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Finland.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Finland survives.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Finland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Is plum legal to sell in Finland?
Finland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and bans most advertising for these products.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
