Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
Ordering into Finland usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Finland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within €2.56 per 10 ml.
The short version: plum in Finland works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum pen device really costs in Finland
Most people searching Vape Meet in Finland are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested plum in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Finland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Finland, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Finland survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Finland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for plum in Finland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within €2.56 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
How long does plum in a pen device last?
In Finland we measured 4 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
