Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at salted in Finland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted pen device really costs in Finland
Salted in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Finland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Finland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Finland, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Finland accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
