What the label on Salted is allowed to say
Salted pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run salted the same way in Finland: same pod kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: salted in Finland works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pod kit really costs in Finland
Salted pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested salted in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Finland, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Finland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and bans most advertising for these products. Shipping of nicotine to Finland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Finland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is salted legal to sell in Finland?
Finland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and bans most advertising for these products.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Finland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
How long does salted in a pod kit last?
In Finland we measured 3 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
