Home / Salted RDA Vape Meet in Finland: the compare shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit

Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Finland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within €2.91 per 10 ml.

We run salted the same way in Finland: same RDA, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a salted RDA really costs in Finland

If you are looking at salted in Finland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.

How we tested salted in a RDA

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Finland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.

• Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
• Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Finland, not a suggestion.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Finland.

Where salted goes wrong

• Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Finland accept nicotine freight.
• Treating the advertised €62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run €2.91 per 10 ml.

The rules that apply here

Finland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and bans most advertising for these products.

Packaging for salted in Finland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
