How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Finland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within €3.26 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at sour in Finland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: sour in Finland works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour 30 ml shortfill really costs in Finland
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Finland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within €3.26 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Finland, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Finland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
