Sour vape pen Vape Meet in Finland: the flat shortlist
Sour in Finland: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Finland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Finland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within €3.54 per 10 ml.
Sour in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Finland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour vape pen really costs in Finland
If you are looking at sour in Finland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sour in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Finland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Finland, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Finland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Finland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and bans most advertising for these products.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Finland: about €3.54 per 10 ml liquid plus €63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does sour in a vape pen last?
In Finland we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
