Tropical squonk mod Vape Meet in Finland: the review shortlist
Tropical in Finland: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Finland.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run tropical the same way in Finland: same squonk mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Finland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within €2.36 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical squonk mod really costs in Finland
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested tropical in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Finland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Finland, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised €50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run €2.36 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is tropical legal to sell in Finland?
Finland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and bans most advertising for these products.
How long does tropical in a squonk mod last?
In Finland we measured 6 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
